Eau de Parfum Lys (Lily): Like all Le Jardin Retrouvé perfumes, creating the Lys (Lily) was a return to the sources of perfumery with scents that are simple and natural.

Commencing with notes of Bergamot and St. John's Wort, the flowery and zesty core develops, followed by a harmony composed of Vanilla and Oak Moss.

Eau de Parfum Chevrefeuille (Honeysuckle): The perfume of the honeysuckle blossom can neither be captured by vapour distillation, nor extracted with volatile solvents. The Chevrefeuille (Honeysuckle) is therefore a purely imaginary reconstruction by the Perfumer where his know-how translates his perception of the flower's perfume.

In Le Jardin Retrouvé's Eau de Parfum Chèvrefeuille (Honeysuckle) the head notes are enhanced with a fresh opening note of Italian Lemon and St. John's Wort from Paraguay, to develop into a fresh floral bouquet.

Rose Thé (Tearose): Mysterious, majestic and sweet at the same time, the fragrance of the tearose is probably the best-known of the numerous floral perfumes in the world.

Verveine Céleste (Heavenly Verbena): The essence of Verbena from Provence (France) with its slightly green and tart smell, fresh and lemony, is obtained by distillation of Verbena leaves, although the output is rather limited.

To enhance the Verbena note, Yuri Gutsatz imagined adding a whole bouquet of plants and herbs from Provence, leaving a rich and complex harmony of Geranium, Sage, Thyme, Lavender and Neroli on the skin. This unique Eau de Parfum evokes the freshness of the scents from the South of France, made long-lasting by the addition of woodsy notes like Sandalwood and Vetyver.

Tubereuse (Tuberose) (Polianthes Tuberosa): that originates in Mexico and India is a lovely oriental flower with a heady and betwitching perfume.

Belonging to the Amarydillacae species, this flower was introduced into Beaugencier, southern France, by monks towards the middle of the 17th century.

A skilful dosage of Indian Tuberose Absolute in the composition of this perfume turns it into a wonderfully rich and long-lasting fragrance.

Eau de Vétyver / Vanille (Vetyver / Vanilla): Vetyver Essential Oil, extracted from the roots of this exotic plant found in Reunion Island, India and Indonesia, have been used by perfumers since time immemorial.

Vétyver / Vanille with its tangy head note (Bergamot, Lemon), its warm, woody bouquetwith a touch of tobacco, and its base note that is spicy and peppery, makes this a classic and original fragrance.

To enhance its warm and suave character and augment the tenacity of his composition, Yuri Gutsatz added a touch of Bourbon Vanilla which combines admirably with the dominant Vetyver of this perfume.

Eau de Citron Poivré (Spicy Lemon): In this creation, Yuri Gutsatz, garbs the Essence of Lemon from Italy, which is known to be very volatile, with a selection of spices which turns it into a very original perfume, and imparts a lasting quality that the Essence alone does not possess.

You find a harmonious accord of Essences such as Pepper, Pimento, Cloves and Cinnamon and the fresh tones of St. John's Wort from Paraguay, and African Geranium.

La Rose Opéra: In 1952, Maurice Lehmann, then Director of the Opéra de Paris, asked Yuri Gutsatz to perfume the opera house for a sequence of "Les Indes Galantes", a lavish opera presentation by Rameau.

When he created his Rose Opéra, his source of inspiration was naturally the souvenirs of "Apparition de la Rose" of Les Indes Galantes in the Opéra de Paris!

Rose de Mai (Damask Rose): There are many varities of roses, and Yuri Gutsatz had marvellous souvenirs of the various Rose fragrances that led him to create a perfume that is a blend of two Rose fragrances − the Damascus Rose, or Rose of May, and Rose Centifolia, or Oriental Rose, that is grown in Bulgaria and Turkey. The result is an Eau de Parfum that is long-lasting and which stays true for many fragrant hours.

Eau du Jardin: There are many stories told about Eau de Cologne and today a host of perfume compositions claim this prestigious title. But like all its creations, Le Jardin Retrouvé has travelled back to the sources of perfumery in order to create its own Eau du Jardin.

Eau de Vétyver (Vetyver): Throughout the ages, perfumers have used the Vetyver essential oil, extracted from the roots of an exotic plant found in Haiti, Reunion Island, India and Indonesia in their creations.
